CIMC VEHICLES | CIMC TRAILERBULL CO.,LTD is the world’s leader in the sophisticated manufacturing of semi-trailers and specialty vehicles, a pioneer in the high-quality development of road transport equipment in China, and an explorer and innovator in new energy specialty vehicles in China. The Company started to produce and sell semi-trailers in 2002. It has ranked first in terms of sales volume of semi-trailers in the world for 11 consecutive years since 2013.

“Intercontinental Operation, Local Manufacturing”is the Company’s most valuable competitive advantage, and it is the key to maintaining sustained growth and leading position in the global semi-trailer industry.

By the end of 2023, the Company has more than 600 technical R&D personnel globally, more than 1,400 registered patents, and has actively participated in the formulation of 35 national and industry standards for semi-trailers and truck bodies for specialty vehicles in China.

The Company has entered a new phase of the third venture and implemented the “Star-chained Manufacturing Network”, which leverages centralized procurement (LTS) to facilitate the transition from full-category production to specialized “Light Tower” Plant production (LTP), from passive inventory to active inventory management (LTL), from order-based production to modular productdriven sales close to customers (LoM), and from point sales to hierarchical management for targeted sales (sales channels). Meantime, the Company utilized sophisticated manufacturing production lines and capacity, achieved efficient synergy, realized comprehensive production automation, intelligentization and process digitalization, increased orders and improved the fulfillment, and effectively combined major businesses or groups in the long run, so as to guarantee high-quality development.

Milestones

• 1993, Cooperate with German Koegel for the Refrigerated trucks in China, and the first insulated and refrigerated truck body produced in China
• 1995, Get the deep cooperation from German for the tanker and semi-trailer producing in China, supply to China Petrol hundreds of units.
• 2004, the new producing workshop developed in Jinan for more than 40000 square meters for the semi-trailer producing include flatbed, tanker, low bed, refrigerated trailers etc
• 2006, independent research and developed the first auto producing lines for tipper box refitting and get a producing capacity to 10 thousand each year.
• 2007, Retractable Flatbed semi-trailer developed and export 500 units to Angola by container loading.
• 2008, Developed Bogie suspension trailers for Angola and exported 300 units to Angola
• 2009, 100 units tanker semi-trailer with volume of 42000L to Tanzania with Simba Trailers for their SKD and CKD assembly. Design and support built their assembling lines with workshop in Dar Es Salaam with capacity of 200 units/ year.
• 2010, Developed long logging delivery truck trailer for Russian forest.
• 2011, developed and export 200 units side discharge dump semi-trailer train with capacity of 100T to Mongolia for their Mine transportation.
• 2014, exported 150 units the super heavy and long log trailers to Congo for their huge logs in the Selva forest.
• 2015-2017, get the latest technology of German for the composite panel kits and developed the fast assembly refrigerated and dry freight truck box with FRP/GRP profile for the developed countries like Australia and US.

• 2018-Present: Intercontinental Operation Based on the “Sophisticated Manufacturing System”

• In 2019, completed the preliminary construction and upgrade of US-based localized production lines for container chassis trailers, van trailers and refrigerated trailers

• In 2020, completed the construction and upgrade of Europe-based production lines for container chassis trailers and refrigerated trailers

• In 2021, listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange’s ChiNext and achieved the dual "A+H" listing status

  2014-2018: Incubation Period of the Sophisticated Manufacturing System in China

• Dongguan “Light Tower” plant, our first “Light Tower” plant, commenced operation

• Manufactured environmental-friendly dump truck bodies, container chassis trailers, tank trailers and center-axle semi-trailers in modular design, accelerating the construction of “Light Tower” plants

• Awarded the title of “China’s Leading Specialty Vehicle Enterprise” by China Automotive Technology and Research Center
